Conclavia is a specialist conclave facilitation service built on two complementary careers. Between us, we bring over fifty years of combined experience in the law and in the accurate recording of expert evidence.
Oliver Johnson
Oliver is a former NSW lawyer with ten years' experience spanning both government and private practice. Prior to his legal career, he worked as a paralegal for a similar period, giving him a deep, practical understanding of how litigation is prepared, argued, and resolved.
Oliver's role at Conclavia is to facilitate the conclave process with precision: identifying the issues in dispute, structuring the exchange of expert opinion, and producing an issues matrix that is accurate, admissible, and genuinely useful to counsel.
Colleen Johnson
Colleen is a stenographer with forty years' experience recording proceedings across a wide range of jurisdictions. Her skill is in capturing the nuance of expert discussion, the hesitations, the qualifications, the points of agreement and disagreement, without losing any of the substance.
Colleen's transcripts form the evidential backbone of every conclave we facilitate. They are written to withstand scrutiny and to serve as a reliable record for trial, mediation, or negotiation.
Our Approach
We are independent. We are not aligned with any party in a dispute. Our only interest is producing a clear, defensible record of what the experts agreed on, what they disputed, and why.
Every conclave is approached as if it will be tested in court, because it might be.
